U.S. Virgin Islands § 3416 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

The remedy against the Government of the United States Virgin Islands as provided by section 3408 of this chapter for injury or loss of property or for personal injury or death, resulting from the operation by any employee of the Government of any motor vehicle while acting within the scope of his or her office or employment, shall be exclusive of any other civil action or proceeding by reason of the same subject matter against the employee or his or her estate whose act or omission gave rise to the claim.
