(a) If a facility has temporarily suspended operations but has definite plans for renewing operations within the time limits of the issued license, the Department may suspend the license.\n(b) If the Department finds repeated non-compliance with standards that do not endanger the health or safety of the children the Department has the option of suspending the license for a definite period of time instead of denying or revoking the license. In order to qualify for suspension under this subsection, the facility must:\n(1) show it can meet the standards within the suspension period, and\n(2) suspend its operations.\n(c) If a facility does not comply with standards after the suspension, the Department must deny or revoke its license.
