(a) The Department of Human Services shall offer training programs to local law enforcement and prosecutorial personnel in investigating crimes against elders and dependent adults.\n(b) The Department of Human Services shall offer training programs in evaluating and documenting instances of criminal abuse against elders and dependent adults to:\n(1) the Department of Health;\n(2) district adult protective services agencies;\n(3) the ombudsmen; and\n(4) the staff of long-term care facilities, including nursing homes and out-of-home care facilities.
