U.S. Virgin Islands § 288 — U.S. Virgin Islands law

(a) No justice, judge, clerk of court, deputy, assistant or other officer or employee of a court shall practice law during his continuance in office or be in partnership with a practicing attorney.\n(b) Justices of the Supreme Court and Judges of the Superior Court shall devote all their time exclusively to the court and shall hold no other official position in the government of the Virgin Islands, whether compensatory or otherwise.
