The clerk of the Superior Court, before entering upon his duties, shall take the oath or affirmation prescribed by section 951 of Title 28 of the United States Code and shall give bond to the Territory in an amount fixed by the Judicial Council, and with sureties approved by the court, conditioned on the faithful discharge of the duties of his office. The bond shall be filed in the office of the clerk of the Supreme Court.
