(a) In criminal actions the parties shall be entitled to peremptory challenges to the extent authorized by Rule 24(b) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.\n(b) All challenges for cause or favor, whether to the array or panel or to individual jurors, shall be determined by the court.
