Wherever used or referred to in sections 41–49 of this title, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context—\n(1) 'District' means the Virgin Islands Conservation District created by the provisions of sections 41 through 49 of this title.\n(2) 'Board' or 'Board of Supervisors' means the governing body of the district;\n(3) 'Supervisor' means one of the members of the governing body of the district;\n(4) 'Land occupier' or 'occupier of land' means any person, firm or corporation who holds title to, or is in possession of any farm lands, other than publicly owned lands, lying within the district, whether as owner, lessee, renter, or owner's agent; and\n(5) [Repealed.]
