The foregoing sections of this chapter shall be deemed to provide a complete, additional and alternative method for doing the things authorized thereby and shall be regarded as supplemental and additional to powers conferred by other laws; the issuance of revenue bonds and revenue refunding bonds under the provisions of this chapter need not comply with the requirements of any other laws applicable to the issuance of bonds. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this chapter, none of the powers granted to the authority under the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the supervision or regulation or require the approval or consent of any locality or any commission, board, bureau or agency of any of the foregoing.\nCode 1950, § 32-271.7; 1973, c. 462, § 15.1-1598; 1979, c. 719; 1997, c. 587.
