§ 17-1-289

The clerk of every circuit court shall be entitled to a commission of five percent on local collections received by the clerk on which a commission is not otherwise provided for by law. The commissions shall be deducted by the clerk before the collections are paid into the county, town or city treasury.\n1977, c. 290, § 14.1-155.2; 1998, c. 872.
