Every person who knowingly:\n(1) Photographs himself or any other person, for purposes of preparing an obscene film, photograph, negative, slide or motion picture for purposes of sale or distribution; or\n(2) Models, poses, acts, or otherwise assists in the preparation of any obscene film, photograph, negative, slide or motion picture for purposes of sale or distribution;\nshall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.\nCode 1950, § 18.1-235; 1960, c. 233; 1970, c. 204; 1975, cc. 14, 15.
