The governing body of any city or county in the Commonwealth may advance funds, not otherwise specifically allocated or obligated, from the general fund to a fire zone or district to assist the fire zone or district to exercise the powers set forth in § 27-23.1.\n1970, c. 187; 1985, c. 343; 2001, c. 142; 2015, cc. 502, 503.
