Every hotel shall post in a conspicuous place in its office a list of the ranges of the charges for its rooms and shall post in each guest's room the maximum charge for that room. If the hotel is operated on the American or modified American plan, the notice shall contain the maximum charge for the room and the number of meals provided.\nCode 1950, § 35-2; 1981, c. 468.
