§ 40-1-9

The Department shall be maintained from such appropriations as the General Assembly may make for the purpose. The compensation of the Commissioner and of all other employees of the Department shall be fixed and paid in accordance with law.\nCode 1950, § 40-7; 1962, c. 66; 1970, c. 321.
