§ 42-1-46

It is hereby declared to be the policy of the Commonwealth, as a part of its provision of essential service to communities and for public education, to promote the establishment and development of public library service throughout its various political subdivisions.\nCode 1950, § 42-23; 1970, c. 606; 2020, c. 54.
