Bicentennial license plates and decals issued to any properly registered passenger motor vehicle from January 1, 1976, through December 31, 1981, may continue in use for a period determined by the Commissioner if the proper fee is paid as required in § 46.2-694.\n1975, c. 206, § 46.1-105.5; 1980, c. 24; 1989, c. 727.
