As used in this chapter, unless the context requires a different meaning:\n'Employee' means a state police officer.\n'Member' means any person included in the membership of the retirement system as provided in this chapter.\n'Normal retirement date' means a member's sixtieth birthday.\n'Retirement system' means the State Police Officers' Retirement System.\n1966, c. 628, § 51-144; 1972, c. 568; 1973, c. 523; 1974, c. 353; 1975, c. 597; 1984, c. 430; 1990, c. 832.
