All applicants except those certified by endorsement shall be required to pass a clinical competency evaluation. Such evaluation shall be in written or oral form and shall include the following areas:\n1. Basic nursing skills;\n2. Personal care skills;\n3. Recognition of mental health and social services needs;\n4. Basic restorative services; and\n5. Resident or patient rights.\n1989, c. 278.
