§ 59-1-484

This chapter shall be construed and applied to:\n(1) Facilitate electronic transactions consistent with other applicable law;\n(2) Be consistent with reasonable practices concerning electronic transactions and with the continued expansion of those practices; and\n(3) Effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of this chapter among states enacting it.\n2000, c. 995.
