As used in this chapter, unless the context requires a different meaning:\n'Check casher' means a person engaged in the business of cashing checks, drafts, or money orders for compensation.\n'Item' means a check, draft, or money order.\n'Registrant' means a person registered under this chapter.\n'Registration' means a registration filed under this chapter.\n1995, c. 221, § 6.1-432; 2010, c. 794.
