Whenever any habeas corpus case is pending in a federal court, upon written request of the Attorney General or any assistant attorney general, a court of this Commonwealth shall transmit to such federal court such records as may be requested.\nCode 1950, § 8-608.1; 1975, c. 389; 1977, c. 617.
