A. If a bail bondsman chooses to carry a firearm in the course of his duties, he shall be required to:\n1. First complete basic firearms training, as defined by the Board; and\n2. Receive ongoing in-service firearms training, as defined by the Board.\nB. In the event a bail bondsman discharges a firearm during the course of his duties, he shall report it to the Department within 24 business hours.\n2004, c. 460.
