RCW 24.03A.660Voting on amendments by voting groups.(1) If a nonprofit corporation has more than one class of members entitled to vote on an amendment to the articles, then the articles or bylaws may provide that the members of each class entitled to vote on the amendment are entitled to vote as a separate voting group if the amendment would change the rights, powers, preferences, or limitations of the class.(2) If a class of members will be divided into two or more classes by an amendment to the articles, then the amendment must be approved by a majority of the members of each class that will be created.[ 2021 c 176 s 3105.]NOTES:Effective date—2021 c 176: See note following RCW 24.03A.005.
