RCW 43.20B.050Liens—Compromise—Settlement or judgment.(1) No settlement made by and between the recipient and tort feasor and/or insurer shall discharge or otherwise compromise the lien created in RCW 43.20B.060 without the express written consent of the secretary. Discretion to compromise such liens rests solely with the secretary or the secretary's designee.(2) No settlement or judgment shall be entered purporting to compromise the lien created by RCW 43.20B.060 without the express written consent of the secretary or the secretary's designee.[ 1990 c 100 s 4; 1969 ex.s. c 173 s 12.
