RCW 43.21A.090Powers, duties and functions transferred to department to be performed by director—Delegation by director, limitations.All powers, duties and functions transferred to the department by the terms of chapter 62, Laws of 1970 ex. sess. shall be performed by the director: PROVIDED, That the director may delegate, by appropriate rule or regulation, the performance of such of his or her powers, duties, and functions, other than those relating to the adoption, amendment or rescission of rules and regulations, to employees of the department whenever it appears desirable in fulfilling the policy and purposes of this chapter.[ 2009 c 549 s 5083; 1970 ex.s. c 62 s 9.]
