RCW 47.04.260Latecomer fees.The department of transportation may impose and collect latecomer fees on behalf of another entity for infrastructure improvement projects initially funded partially or entirely by private sources. However, there must be an agreement in place between the department of transportation and the entity, before the imposition and collection of any such fees, that specifies (1) the collection process, (2) the maximum amount that may be collected, and (3) the period of time during which the collection may occur.[ 2005 c 317 s 30.]
