RCW 48.44.090Refusal to register corporate, etc., contractor if name confusing with existing contractor or insurance company.The insurance commissioner shall refuse to accept the registration of any corporation, cooperative group, or association seeking to act as a health care service contractor if, in his or her discretion, the insurance commissioner deems that the name of the corporation, cooperative group, or association would be confused with the name of an existing registered health care service contractor or authorized insurance company.[ 2009 c 549 s 7146; 1961 c 197 s 6.]
