RCW 50.04.240Employment—Newspaper vendor, carrier, or delivery person.The term 'employment' shall not include services performed by a newspaper vendor, carrier, or delivery person selling or distributing newspapers on the street, to offices, to businesses, or from house to house and any freelance news correspondent or 'stringer' who, using his or her own equipment, chooses to submit material for publication for free or a fee when such material is published.[ 2013 c 141 s 2; 2007 c 218 s 85; 1945 c 35 s 25; Rem.
