RCW 69.41.041Long-term care facilities and hospice programs—Legend drug prescriptions and chart orders.(1) A pharmacy may dispense legend drugs to the resident of a long-term care facility or hospice program on the basis of a written or electronically signed prescription or chart order sent via facsimile copy by the prescriber to the long-term care facility or hospice program, and communicated or transmitted to the pharmacy pursuant to RCW 18.64.550.(2) For the purpose of this section, the terms 'long-term care facility,' 'hospice program,' and 'chart order' have the meanings provided in RCW 18.64.011.[ 2020 c 57 s 87; 2016 c 148 s 7.]
