RCW 69.77.070Hospitals and health care facilities.A hospital or health care facility:(1) May, but is not required to, allow a health care practitioner who is privileged to practice or who is employed at the hospital or health care facility to treat, administer, or provide an investigational product to an eligible patient under this chapter;(2) May establish a policy regarding treating, administering, or providing investigational products under this chapter; and(3) Is not obligated to pay for the investigational product or any harm caused to the eligible patient by the product, or any care that is necessary as a result of the use of the investigational product, including under chapter 70.170 RCW.[ 2017 c 212 s 7.]
