RCW 70.05.100Determination of character of disease.In case of the question arising as to whether or not any person is affected or is sick with a dangerous, contagious or infectious disease, the opinion of the local health officer shall prevail until the state department of health can be notified, and then the opinion of the executive officer of the state department of health, or any physician he or she may appoint to examine such case, shall be final.[ 1991 c 3 s 312; 1979 c 141 s 83; 1967 ex.s. c 51 s 15.]
