RCW 70.230.030Operating without a license.Except as provided in RCW 70.230.040, after June 30, 2009, no person or governmental unit of the state of Washington, acting separately or jointly with any other person or governmental unit, shall establish, maintain, or conduct an ambulatory surgical facility in this state or advertise by using the term 'ambulatory surgical facility,' 'day surgery center,' 'licensed surgical center,' or other words conveying similar meaning without a license issued by the department under this chapter.[ 2007 c 273 s 3.]
