RCW 70.74.201Municipal or county ordinances unaffected—State preemption.This chapter shall not affect, modify or limit the power of a city, municipality or county in this state to make an ordinance that is more stringent than this chapter which is applicable within their respective corporate limits or boundaries: PROVIDED, That the state shall be deemed to have preempted the field of regulation of small arms ammunition and handloader components.[ 1970 ex.s. c 72 s 5; 1969 ex.s. c 137 s 6.]
