RCW 71.34.620Adolescent's court petition for release from inpatient treatment facility—Judicial review of medical necessity.Following the review conducted under RCW 71.34.610, an adolescent may petition the superior court for his or her release from the facility. The petition may be filed not sooner than five days following the review. The court shall release the adolescent unless it finds, upon a preponderance of the evidence, that it is a medical necessity for the adolescent to remain at the facility.[ 2019 c 381 s 9; 1998 c 296 s 19.
