RCW 72.09.230Duties continued during transition.All state officials required to maintain contact with or provide services to the department or secretary of social and health services relating to adult corrections shall continue to perform the services for the department of corrections.In order to ease the transition of adult corrections to the department of corrections, the governor may require an interagency agreement between the department and the department of social and health services under which the department of social and health services would, on a temporary basis, continue to perform all or part of any specified function of the department of corrections.[ 1981 c 136 s 34.]
