RCW 72.72.020Definitions.Unless the context clearly requires otherwise, the definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter.(1) 'Political subdivisions' means counties, cities, and towns.(2) 'Institution' means any state institution for the confinement of adult offenders committed pursuant to chapters 10.64, 10.77, and 71.06 RCW or juvenile offenders committed pursuant to chapter 13.40 RCW.[ 1983 c 279 s 1; 1981 c 136 s 120; 1979 ex.s. c 108 s 2.]NOTES:Effective date—1981 c 136: See RCW 72.09.900.
