RCW 73.16.100Legislative declaration—Other civil actions abolished.The legislature declares that the public policies articulated in chapter 133, Laws of 2001 depend on the procedures established in chapter 133, Laws of 2001. No civil or criminal action may be maintained relying on the public policies articulated in chapter 133, Laws of 2001 without complying with the procedures in this chapter. To that end, all civil actions and civil causes of action for such injuries and all jurisdiction of the courts of this state over such causes are hereby abolished, except as provided in this chapter.[ 2001 c 133 s 14.]NOTES:Effective date—2001 c 133: See note following RCW 73.16.005.
