RCW 77.120.110Ballast water and biofouling management account.(1) The ballast water and biofouling management account is created in the state treasury. All receipts from legislative appropriations, gifts, grants, donations, penalties, and fees received under this chapter must be deposited into the account.(2) Expenditures from the account may be used only to carry out the purposes of this chapter. However, penalties may not be used for the salaries of permanent department employees.(3) Moneys in the account may be spent only after appropriation.[ 2017 3rd sp.s. c 17 s 106; 2009 c 333 s 27; 2007 c 350 s 14.]
