RCW 79.14.180Lands may be withheld from leasing.Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed as requiring the department to offer any tract or tracts of land for lease; but the department shall have power to withhold any tract or tracts from leasing for oil, gas, or other hydrocarbons, if, in its judgment, the best interest of the state will be served by so doing.[ 2003 c 334 s 483; 1955 c 131 s 18.
