RCW 86.16.051Basis for state and local floodplain management.The basis for state and local floodplain management regulation shall be the areas designated as special flood hazard areas on the most recent maps provided by the federal emergency management agency for the national flood insurance program. Best available information shall be used if these maps are not available or sufficient.[ 1987 c 523 s 5.]
