RCW 90.56.080Hazardous substances incident response training and education program.The division of fire protection services shall establish and manage the Washington oil and hazardous substances incident response training and education program to provide approved classes in hazardous substance response, taught by trained instructors. To carry out this program, the division of fire protection services shall:(1) Adopt rules necessary to implement the program;(2) Establish a training and education program by developing the curriculum to be used in the program in colleges, academies, and other educational institutions;(3) Provide training to local oil and hazardous materials emergency response personnel; and(4) Establish and collect admission fees and other fees that may be necessary to the program.[ 2000 c 69 s 17; 1991 c 200 s 109.]
