(a) The Commissioner shall notify the licensing authority of the state where the driver is licensed within thirty days of the date of conviction of any holder of a commercial driver license or any person operating a commercial motor vehicle for any violation of state law or local ordinance relating to motor vehicle traffic control, other than parking violations, committed in a commercial motor vehicle.(b) The Commissioner shall notify the driver licensing authority in the licensing state where the driver is licensed within ten days of the date of disqualification of any holder of a commercial driver license or any person operating a commercial motor vehicle.(c) Beginning on September 30, 2008, the Commissioner shall notify the driver licensing authority in the licensing state where the driver is licensed within ten days of the date of conviction of any holder of a commercial driver's license or any person operating a commercial motor vehicle for any violation of state law or local ordinance relating to motor vehicle traffic control, other than parking violations, committed in a commercial motor vehicle.
