(a) The commissioner shall propose rules for legislative approval in accordance with the provisions of article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code, to:(1) Establish the license requirements for auctioneers and apprentice auctioneers, including the bond requirements;(2) Set a fee schedule;(3) Establish the renewal and expiration requirements for licenses;(4) Establish the continuing education requirements for licensees;(5) Establish waiver of examination requirements for apprentice auctioneers;(6) Permit consent agreements or negotiated settlements for the civil penalties; and(7) Implement the provisions of this article.(b) The fees in effect on January 1, 2014, shall remain in effect until modified by legislative rule.
