§ 21a-6-4a

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter to the contrary, the following provisions apply to an individual who is a member of the state National Guard or other reserve component of the United States Armed Forces:(1) If such individual is otherwise unemployed under the provisions of this chapter, he may not be considered to be employed because he is engaged in inactive duty for training;(2) Such individual may not be considered unavailable for work by reason of his inactive duty for training; and(3) Remuneration which the individual receives for participating in inactive duty for training may not be deducted from the unemployment compensation benefit to which he is otherwise entitled.
