§ 61-2-26

No person shall abandon any refrigerator or food freezer appliance or other airtight appliance having a height or length greater than two feet without first removing all entry doors therefrom.Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than $200, or imprisoned in the county jail not more than six months, or both fined and imprisoned.Justices of the peace shall have jurisdiction of cases arising hereunder concurrent with courts of record.
