16.8511 Secretary of administration; powers, duties. (1) The secretary or the secretary’s designated assistants shall make a biennial inspection of each building of each institution of the state. The secretary may delegate this responsibility to the board, commission or officer in charge of such institution.(2) The secretary may delegate any of the work under this subchapter to the various state agencies when the secretary determines that the best interests of the state will be served. All such delegation will be in writing and accompanied by the proper rules and guidelines the agencies must follow to ensure performance to the satisfaction of the secretary.History: 2005 a. 149 ss. 67, 69.
