214.185 Exceptions. (1) This subchapter does not prohibit a regional institution or regional holding company from acquiring up to 5 percent of the voting shares of one or more in-state savings banks or savings bank holding companies.(2) This subchapter does not prohibit an in-state savings bank or savings bank holding company from acquiring up to 5 percent of the voting shares of one or more regional savings banks or savings bank holding companies.History: 1991 a. 221.
