51.84 Limitation of time to commence proceeding. Any proceedings under ss. 51.81 to 51.85 shall be begun within one year after the flight referred to in ss. 51.81 to 51.85.History: 1971 c. 40 s. 93; 1981 c. 314 s. 146.The limitation period commences on the date the committing state discovers the patient in the asylum state.
