59.15 Neglect of duty. Any supervisor who refuses or neglects to perform any of the duties which are required of the supervisor by law as a member of the board, without just cause therefor, shall for each such refusal or neglect forfeit not less than $50 nor more than $200.History: 1991 a. 316; 1995 a. 201 s. 246; Stats. 1995 s. 59.15; 1995 a. 225 s. 136; 1997 a. 35.A county board may provide for a penalty in the nature of a forfeiture for the violation of a code of ethics ordinance but may not bar violators from running for office.
