61.72 Pest and disease prevention. When a village board shall appropriate money for the control of insect pests, weeds, or plant or animal diseases, the department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection upon request of the village board shall cooperate with the village and shall provide technical assistance and direction for the expenditure of such funds.History: 1977 c. 29 s. 1650m (4).
