85.195 Coordination with land conservation committees. (1) In this section, 'land conservation committee' means a committee established under s. 92.06 or its designated representative.(2) Before commencing construction on a highway construction project, the department shall consult with the local land conservation committee to determine the presence and extent of local practices to conserve soil and water resources within the county, including surface and subsurface drainage systems.History: 1997 a. 27.
